| The first and greatest merit of this new technique is to give the photograph
an almost miraculous durability of between 1000 and 2000 years. My idea
is to use this new technique (which I am calling "Millennium Photo")
to preserve photographic portraits for posterity. For example portraits
of all the Presidents and the First Lady of the United States of America
can be preserved in a pristine photographic state for up to 2000 years.
Time capsules might use the Millennium Photo as an ideal component. A suggestion was E-mailed
to the First Lady, Mrs. Hillary Clinton, but the
response received was not as auspicious as I had hoped. The white House
